The Fire That Started It All
The journey that started with a walk and turned into a movement.
Hi, I’m Coree.
I started Chubby Chicks Fitness in 2009. Back then, I was over 325 pounds, and I didn’t see myself anywhere in the fitness world. Gyms felt like they were built for someone else. So I made my own space. One that felt real, fun, and not judgey.
CCFit is a women-focused movement and wellness community built around accessible hiking, mindset, and actual connection. It’s about showing up as you are and moving in ways that support you, not punish you.
I’ve lost over 160 pounds. My body’s shifted over the years, because life does that. What hasn’t changed is why I do this. CCFit was never just about weight. It’s about what we carry, what we’ve lived through, and finding your way back to yourself one walk at a time.
I’m a Certified Master Life Coach with additional training in purpose, goal success, and happiness coaching. That helps, but the heart of this community is lived experience, honesty, and women who get it.
If you’re here, you’re probably craving something that feels doable and real. You’re in the right place.
Real Tools. Real Connections. Reclaiming Joy in Your Body and Your Life.
This is the heart of CCFit — Beginner-friendly hikes and casual group walks through some of Arizona’s most beautiful spots — including Sedona, the Superstitions, and more.
These retreats are created to help you reconnect with your body, your energy, and your fire. We blend movement, nature, beauty, and intention in spaces that feel both grounding and luxurious.
CCFit memberships and online programs help you stay connected and supported between hikes and retreats. You’ll find mindset tools, community support, and on-demand resources you can use from anywhere, whether you’re in Arizona or joining online.
A few quick answers to help you feel more comfortable joining in.
Nope. Everything we offer is beginner-friendly and designed for women who are easing back into movement. You don’t have to keep up with anyone. You just have to show up.
You can still be part of the community! Our online membership gives you access to courses, resources, and support no matter where you live. In-person events and retreats happen in Arizona, but online options are open to everyone.
FireStarter is your open door into CCFit. You get invitations to all upcoming walks and hikes, access to our online community space, updates, encouragement, and pay-as-you-go access to any event you want to join. Simple, supportive, and perfect if you want to ease into things at your own pace.
TrailPass offers 4 FREE events each month, discounted booking afterward, and early access to meaningful workshops and community experiences. It’s for women who crave steady support, shared energy, and a reason to keep coming back to themselves week after week.
Mostly beginner-level trails in places the Superstition Mountains, Sedona, and other scenic Arizona spots. They’re relaxed, supportive, and focused on connection—not performance.
That’s exactly who this was built for. Everything here is designed to meet you where you are. There’s no pressure to keep up or push through—just an open invitation to move, connect, and feel good again.
No, CCFit isn’t focused on weight loss—but it’s often a nice side effect.
Once you start moving more, staying consistent, and paying attention to what you’re eating, your body starts to respond.
We do talk about clean, nutritional eating inside the community because it matters—just like mindset, support, and how you feel in your body.
That’s totally normal—and you’re not alone. A lot of women feel that way, especially if it’s their first time doing something like this.
Just know: this space was made for you. You don’t have to be “ready,” you just have to be willing.
If you have questions before joining or coming to an event, feel free to contact us and we’ll walk you through it.
Retreats are immersive, multi-day experiences that include light movement, reflection, connection, and restorative time in nature. Hikes and walks are local, casual, and usually shorter meetups.
Nope. Retreats are open to everyone unless otherwise noted. If you’re a Trail Pass member, you may get early access or special pricing—but you don’t have to be in the community to come.
